To be a legal business partner in our Basel legal team, part of the corporate, financing and transaction team in Basel. We are looking for a qualified Legal Counsel with experience in corporate matters, procurement and data privacy, preferably in life science pharma or manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have at least previous no. years of experience at a reputable law firm and/or corporate in-house legal department.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a business legal partner with internal clients of the company and JV partners
• Advise, draft, negotiate, review, revise and analyze contracts relating to procurement of products and services by the company, in particular in the field of IT, HR and outsourcing of services
• Provide upon request legal support for our Joint Ventures
• Support the legal team in the preparation of the annual report, the sustainability report and non-financial reporting (Art 964b OR)
• Advise on privacy related matters
• Researches and answer inquiries regarding contract rights and obligations, privacy rights, corporate matters and other legal matters
• Provide support for projects directed by the General Counsel Corporate

Key requirements:

• Law degree and bar membership, preferably Swiss bar
• Previous years of experience in practicing law
• Solid experience negotiating and drafting complex procurement agreements
• Business fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
• Strong understanding of corporate laws
• Ability to interact with management
• Team player
