Help us take Chatbot Sophia to every country in the world to ensure that no victim-survivor of domestic violence suffers alone anymore.
About Spring ACT
- Action. Compassion. Technology. - is a Swiss-based AI native non-profit organisation harnessing technology to empower people to take action and help eliminate global social injustices. Our flagship project, , supports victim-survivors of domestic violence globally and has enabled over 42,000 conversations in 172 countries. After winning the United Nations AI for Good Impact Award 2025, we are scaling globally and we need a highly driven, mission-aligned intern to help us go further, faster.
The Role
As our Operations Intern, you'll work directly with our CEO and be a vital part of our core team - helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while supporting us in scaling Sophia's reach and impact across the globe. You'll manage international outreach coordination and support key operational and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Global Outreach Coordination 50 %

  • Help coordinate our global outreach to every government and national domestic violence organisation, introducing them to Chatbot Sophia
  • Manage outreach tracking systems and ensure that follow-up and relationship-building happen efficiently
  • Assist in other outreach activities where needed.
Operations & Administration 30 %
  • Support the onboarding and coordination of ACTivists (our dedicated volunteer team)
  • Assist the CEO with scheduling, internal systems, project tracking, and workflow management
  • Maintain internal documents, contact databases, and shared folders
Finance Support 10 %
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of expenses and receipts
  • Assist with basic financial tracking, invoice preparation, and donor reports
Other Support 10 %
  • Support the task force launching a campaign for our new product tackling the root causes of violence against women: sexism.
  • Support in training and testing the Chatbot
  • Support the coordination with legal partners and conduct basic legal research to help ensure compliance across jurisdictions and with the EU AI Act (Optional - if you have a legal background or are interested in law and AI)
Support in the organisation / coordination of other Spring ACT activities where needed.
You Are...
  • A recent graduate with strong written and verbal communication in English (German or French a plus)
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in a very fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
  • A highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Passionate about human rights, gender equality, tech for good, employing AI for impact, and survivor-centred innovation
  • Excited about working in a women-led and values-based organisation with a highly diverse team from all over the world.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, systems, and learning new tools quickly
  • Bonus: experience or background in management or public administration.

Employment Details
  • Salary: CHF 1,000 / month
  • Contract Duration: 1 year, with a one month probation period
  • Workload: 80% - 100%
  • Location: fully remote with hybrid possibility with CEO in Bern if desired
