Job Description

The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) drives the strategic HR agenda, aligning people initiatives with business priorities to deliver measurable results. Acting as a trusted advisor, the PCBP partners with leaders on transformation, talent strategy, and organizational challenges, fostering high performing, and engaged teams. Leveraging digital tools, data insights, and innovative HR practices, the PCBP streamlines processes, enhances employee experience, strengthen culture and maximizes organizational impact.

Responsibilities





Act as a strategic partner aligning people's initiatives with priorities to drive measurable results and support company objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations (EU and US) while enabling efficient business operations; advise leaders on actions to mitigate risk and enhance performance. Design, lead, and optimize key HR processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, performance management, and organizational capability building. Drive change management initiatives to support strategic transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. Provide strategic and operational HR support in recruitment, employee development, and performance management to boost engagement, retention, and organizational results. Assist in optimizing total rewards programs, ensuring competitive, consistent, and fair compensation practices aligned with company goals. Support HR Operations initiatives and activities as needed. Advise managers to enhance employee engagement, team performance, and organizational effectiveness while reinforcing behaviors that reflect company values. Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting a high-performance, inclusive, and value-driven environment. Act as a trusted people-advocate, while maintaining strict confidentiality, guiding on HR policies, career support and workplace well-being. Leverage technology and data insights to inform HR strategies, streamline processes, and maximize business and people outcomes.


Experience, Qualifications & Skills



Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications preferred. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or independent HR generalist position in a fast-paced and international environment. Strong knowledge of social legislation and current HR and legal environments as well as compensation and benefits relevant for the local markets (primarily Switzerland and USA). Proven track record in organizational design, change management, and transformation initiatives. Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills, enabling effective communication across different departments within the organization and different cultures. Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics and HR technology to inform decisions. Demonstrated ability to foster high-performing teams, enhance employee experience, and reinforce company values. Team player, self-starter with strong problem-solving mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in a local language. Highly organized and proactive, with strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Previous experience in the medical devices or tech industry is a plus.
