What you'll be doing here

Collaborate on an EU Horizon project together with international partners Develop conversion routes for plant biomass Chemically characterize intermediate products of the conversion pathways Optimize a novel bio-based adhesive system based on non-isocyanate polyurethane NIPU chemistry Publish your results in scientific peer-reviewed journals and write a dissertation based at the University of Gottingen

What you'll bring with you

Master's degree in wood technology, materials sciences, chemistry, or a related field Experience in wood chemistry and polymer chemistry Strong interest in interdisciplinary research and innovation Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German or French an advantage
