Job Description

Tasks -


The Product Technical Owner will perform the following principal duties:


a) Solution Architecture Design


Participate to the design of the overall Indico solution architecture Map integration points with existing enterprise systems (Physical Security, Zoom, SharePoint, Interpretation Management System, Online Registration, Document Management System, etc.) Define data models and entity relationships Establish security framework and compliance controls Create technical documentation and solution blueprints b) System Configuration and Customization


Participate to configuration of Indico to meet business requirements Direct development of custom entities, forms, workflows, and business rules Guide creation of custom dashboards and reports c) Systems Integration


Orchestrate integration between Indico and third-party systems Lead development of APIs and integration middleware Ensure enterprise architecture standards compliance d) Systems Testing. System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)


Create system, system integration test scripts Create UAT test scripts that meet acceptance criteria Employ automated testing where possible Participate in system testing, system integration testing Manage User Acceptance Testing with the end users e) Change Management


Develop user training materials and documentation Coordinate training sessions for different user groups Deliverables -


The Product Technical Owner will work in collaboration with project and implementation team to achieve the following deliverables:


a) Solution Architecture Package


High-level solution architecture diagram Detailed technical architecture specifications Integration architecture blueprint Data model and entity relationship diagrams Security and compliance framework document b) Design & Configuration


Functional Design Documents Detailed functional specifications System configuration documentation Customization design documents UI/UX design mockups c) Technical Specifications


Custom development specifications Code documentation and standards API design and integration specification documents d) Data migration strategy and plan


Source-to-target data mapping documents Data transformation rules and scripts Data validation criteria and test cases e) Integration


Integration requirements specification Interface control documents API documentation Integration test plans and test cases f) System testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)


System (unit) test scripts System integration test scripts User acceptance test scripts to meet acceptance criteria Test reports for the different testing g) Post-Implementation Phase Deliverables


Transition to operation procedures Operational Support System Documentation h) As-built solution documentation


System administration guide Operations manual Maintenance procedures and schedules Backup and disaster recovery documentation

Reporting -


The Product Technical Owner will work under the supervision of the ERP Solution Manager (ESD / External Applications Team).


Profile (e.g. area of specialization/expertise, specific knowledge/skills/experience)


a)Education and Certification - Required


University degree in information technology, computer science or a related field. Significant experience in the required field could be considered in lieu of the IT-related degree. Education and Certification - Desirable


Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent); ITIL certification. b) Experience - Required


10+ years of experience in piloting development teams; 5+ years of specific experience with Python language; 5+ years in managing containerized cloud environments (Docker / AWS); Background in creating test scripts and conducting user acceptance sessions and reporting Experience in post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives; Track record of successful stakeholder management at executive levels. B) Experience -Desirable


Experience with configuring Indico solution; Experience in change management and user adoption strategies; Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. c) Language - Required


Excellent communication skills; spoken and written English d) Job Related Competencies - Required


Ability to architect and oversee the development of complex software solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical standards. Advanced knowledge of Python language Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements and technological trends to inform solution design. Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams, and to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions. Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, and to adapt solutions as business needs and technologies change. Commitment to leading software and user acceptance testing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and secure systems. Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance software development practices and processes.
