Project / Role:

For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for Production Expert (m/f/d)

in the value stream Solids Finished Goods.

Background:

As a Production Expert (m/f/d) you are an integral part of the packaging team and therefore responsible for the

operation of the production equipment as well as the correct execution of order and batch changes

to ensure GMP and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) compliant production. You

contribute to the optimization of production processes and

to increasing plant availability through organizational and technical improvements. You will report directly to the head of the VS solids process unit Kaiseraugst.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Independent execution of packaging activities in accordance with applicable

- GMP regulations incl. identification and billing of materials, carrying out in-process controls and sample trains, transportation and disposal of goods

- Collaboration in routine production as a production expert (plant operator)

- Independent operation of the production facilities and the associated IT systems

- Independent documentation of all GMP-relevant work and faults (SAP, MES, OEE) and immediate reporting of any deviations and faulty conditions identified

- Ensuring the availability of format parts, packaging materials and consumables at the place of use

- Evaluating and processing alarms and faults, including commenting on them in the OEE tool

- Clearing out and cleaning the production facilities

- Disposal of waste

- Processing production orders in the relevant IT systems (accounting for production orders, operating the line control station)

- Coordination and implementation of changeover activities in cooperation with the technical department and the line fitters

- Active participation in the introduction, optimization and application of LPS (Lean Production System) methods

- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

- Ensuring production according to written specifications in terms of quality and quantity.

Must Haves:

- Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, food industry or pharmacy

- At least 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP), ideally in the areas of packaging

- Routine handling of production-relevant systems (MES, SAP eWM), as well as MS Office or G-Suite in general

- High willingness to learn for use in different areas and technologies (polyvalence)

- High ability to work in a team and willingness to work in a self-organized team and to take responsibility accordingly

- Willingness and flexibility to work shifts

- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

- Structured, autonomous and independent way of working

- Good process and technical understanding

- Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken)
