Background
:A strategically important site is undergoing a complete modernization as part of a long-term major project. Older buildings are being demolished and new, future-oriented structures are being erected to create innovative infrastructure and sustainable urban integration.
As part of this comprehensive transformation, the site is being completely redesigned for the future through the demolition of older buildings and the construction of pioneering new structures. This is a long-term construction project. The
Project Document Controller/Coordinator (m/f/d)
is a key member of the project team and is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring all project-specific documentation and (depending on requirements) GMP-relevant processes and systems. This role ensures the availability, quality, and integrity of all project documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Role:
The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate has a commercial qualification and should possess an independent, structured work style, complemented by strong teamwork and communication skills. The main responsibility lies in managing and monitoring project documentation according to client guidelines, developing and updating the Project Document Control Plan (PDCP), and implementing document management systems (such as PKM or Elvis). Essential requirements include very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B1), as well as sound knowledge of MS Office and Google applications.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Project Document Controller is a key member of the project team and is responsible for:
Managing, monitoring and ensuring the quality and integrity of project documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Compliance with and implementation of Roche's documentation guidelines.
Development and updating of the
Project Document Control Plan (PDCP)
and relevant parts of the project handbook.
Implementation and support of document management systems and workflows (e.g., PKM, DocuSign, Elvis, GDrive).
Supporting the team in accessing and using project and collaboration platforms.
Archiving and ensuring the availability of all necessary project documents.
Taking over administrative support tasks if required.
Requirements / Must-haves:
Completed commercial training
Independent, structured work style
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to further develop processes and systems
German language skills C1, English language skills B1
Good knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
Basic understanding of project management/construction is an advantage.
