Simulations and experiments for verification of insulation and switching performance are essential to drive the design of high voltage (HV) devices, such as gas circuit breakers (GCB) and gas insulated switchgear (GIS). The aim of the internship is to then handle these different numerical tools for the simulations and the technical drawings and take an active part in the design & preparation of test setups, the subsequent processing of experimental data and their analysis. The duration of this internship shall be minimum 6 months with the possibility to extend it up to 12 months.
