JOB SUMMARY

\\n

The Regional Training Coordinator assists the Sales Operations Manager and Senior Sales Operations Specialist with all phases of educational materials for the Field Sales and Sales Operations Departments of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation (KLC). Assists with the administrative and operational procedures associated with licensing and relicensing businesses as KLC retailers. Develops and coordinates the training of new and existing retailers on the operation of lottery equipment as well as the rules and procedures associated with all lottery games. The Regional Training Coordinator assists in communicating KLC accounting, marketing, and operational procedures to retailers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • \\n
  • Trains retailers on lottery requirements, procedures, accounting practices, and vending machine procedures. Creates training presentations which are presented in both individual and group settings. Provides training to new and existing retailers on lottery equipment such as Altura, Game Touch Draw, GT 20, Gemini 28 Touch and Gemini 24 Ultra and other lottery equipment as needed.\\n

  • Works with Licensing Department, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), retailers, and vendors to license new and existing retailers. Assists with coordination of all new retailer onboarding, change of ownership, and lottery equipment training at retail. Conducts follow-up courtesy visits to all new retailers within assigned region.\\n

  • Assists with the development and maintenance of Sales Department and Retailer Training Manuals. Works in conjunction with Marketing Department to ensure training documentation is uploaded and accessible via company intranet. Supplies retailers with informational packets and provides updates as necessary.\\n

  • Assists in the identification and development of effective training programs for Field Sales and Operational Sales staff to enhance employee performance. This includes customer relationship management system training, refresher training, best practices documents, and training manuals. Assists in the coordination and scheduling of Lottery College for new hires within Sales Department. Assists in development of training agenda, training sessions, tracking attendance, and documenting training notes.\\n

  • Updates field reporting system related to retailer training visits as requested by Sales Operations Manager.\\n

  • Participates in sales training meetings including regional sales meetings, statewide sales meetings, Lottery College for new sales employees, and launch box presentations for lottery-specific games.\\n
\\n
\\n

  • Completes assigned reports as required including weekly progress reports of trainings conducted and other reporting duties as requested by Sales Operations Manager.\\n

  • Completes special projects and assignments as assigned by Sales Operations Manager.\\n

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

\\n
  • \\n
  • Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A combination of four years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 relatable experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.\\n
  • Minimum one year retail sales, training, or customer service equivalent experience preferred.\\n
  • Proven computer proficiency in Word and Excel with exceptional oral presentation skills.\\n
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with retailers, vendors, and employees of the company.\\n
  • Strong organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.\\n
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and ownership to ensure processes are completed accurately and carried through to completion in accordance with established standards.\\n
  • Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.\\n
  • A valid driver\\xe2\\x80\\x99s license and acceptable driving record as determined by the KLC is required.\\n
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.\\n

  • Constantly operates a KLC vehicle. Prolonged sitting in car. Ability to move in and out of the vehicle and retail stores.\\n

  • Frequently operates a computer or tablet.\\n
  • Constantly may need to bend, kneel and reach.\\n
  • Occasionally ascends a ladder to hang banners or other signs at retailers.\\n
