Job description: Your Mission: Maintenance & Reliability Improvement
Lead initiatives to improve reliability of equipment and critical systems.
Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Define maintenance plans and ensure technical accuracy of SOPs and work instructions.
Own and drive equipment maintenance improvement initiatives.
Failure Analysis & CAPA
Lead root cause analyses (RCA/RCFA/FTA) on equipment failures.
Own and resolve equipment-related CAPAs and audit findings.
Analyze trends and performance data to identify failure patterns and recommend design or operational improvements.
Predictive Maintenance & Performance Monitoring
Implement predictive maintenance programs.
Identify and track "bad actors" and equipment waste producers.
Monitor KPIs and reliability metrics; report on performance and effectiveness of improvement actions.
Documentation, Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate maintenance and reliability documentation.
Ensure compliance with GMP/FDA standards.
Support audits and regulatory inspections related to equipment reliability.
Spare Parts & CMMS Management
Manage equipment master data and spare parts lists in CMMS (SAP, JDE, etc.).
Assess functional equivalency for spare parts and maintain accurate BOMs.
Support supplier evaluations for technical services and materials.
Training & Technical Support
Train technicians and operators on reliability concepts and troubleshooting methods.
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure robust equipment documentation is available (OEM manuals, vendor specs).
About the customer: On behalf of our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking for an experienced Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs in a fast-paced, cGMP-compliant biotechnology environment. This role is critical in optimizing asset reliability, leading failure analysis efforts, enhancing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, GMP).

Requirements: Your Profile:
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering, in a GMP-regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of operational maintenance methods and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in CMMS systems (e.g. SAP, JDE).
Business fluent in English (spoken and written).
Preferred:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and data analysis.
