SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant (m,f,d) 80-100% - Hybrid

Project: To support a major HR modernization initiative as part of a broader digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant.

Tasks:

oActively contribute to the program and lead the Operational Readiness stream

oDefine business requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders across HR, IT, finance, and third parties

oAnalyse current payroll and time processes and identify areas for optimisation

oConfigure and maintain SAP Payroll and Time Management modules in line with business needs

oImplement and refine payroll and time management policies and controls to ensure compliance

oConduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and propose technical solutions or improvements

oDeliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support

oSupport the transition into operations and help establish the long-term support model

oStay informed on SAP Payroll and Time Management updates and best practices

oManage SAP OSS notes and apply relevant system updates

oEnsure seamless integration with related SAP modules (e.g., HR, finance, procurement)

oContribute to system upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and related projects

Required Skills & Experience:

oDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

oProven experience (6+ years) as an SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant

oStrong understanding of SAP Payroll configuration (schema, rules, wage types, PCRs)

oExperience with Swiss payroll is highly advantageous

oSkilled in using Payroll Control Centre (PCC) and managing system compliance

oExperience delivering full lifecycle SAP PY/PT implementations

oAbility to analyse and solve complex technical and process issues

oExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills

oSAP certifications in Payroll and Time Management preferred

oFamiliarity with SuccessFactors or other SAP HR modules is a plus

oKnowledge of ABAP debugging is beneficial

oExperience with external system integrations (e.g., time/attendance tools)

oFluent in both German and English
