Job Description

For our client in the insurance industry in Bern, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the project team in gathering, analyzing, and structuring business requirements. You bring in-depth knowledge of requirements management, agile approaches (SAFe), and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. A high level of personal responsibility, strong communication skills, and a strong understanding of complex interrelationships round out your profile.

Tasks:

Analysis and structuring of technical requirements in close cooperation with specialist departments and product managers Development of the technical basis for the creation of features and user stories Analysis of business processes, organizational structures and system deployments to identify weaknesses and optimization potential Collection, testing and documentation of technical needs and expectations of organizational units Development of solution proposals taking into account the business and system perspective Translation of business requirements into ICT requirements Evaluation and validation of technical solutions with regard to requirements and benefits Preparation and coordination of decision-making bases with stakeholders Independent familiarization with new subject areas and structured preparation of technical content

Requirements:

Several years of experience as a business analyst in complex IT and specialist projects Sound methodological expertise in requirements engineering and process analysis Very good knowledge of application engineering and data management Experience with agile process models, ideally SAFe Strong ability to manage oneself and deal with complexity Ideally experience in the insurance sector Knowledge of Jira is an advantage, basic knowledge of Java is desirable

Very good written and spoken German and English skills
