Senior Business Engineer

Bern, BE, CH, Switzerland

Job Description

70-100% (or job sharing), Bern and home office

As part of Informatics/Technology for Logistics Services, you work at the interface between CEP Mail Business and IT. In the FAM - Future Architecture Market - project, you develop future-oriented business architectures and play an active role in shaping the future of logistics.

How you make a difference

You analyse strategy, business models, processes and products, identify change and innovation potential and use it to develop new or optimized business processes. Based on your insights, you develop specialist target visions, business capability maps and end-to-end processes that you convert into specific requirements. You carry out structured snapshots, recognize optimization potential (including data-driven processes and AI) and use this to develop viable and measurable target processes. You moderate the exchange between specialist units and IT in workshops and ensure a common understanding of the solution approaches. You design and model solutions, carry out design work and accompany the implementation through to go-live. Decision templates and profitability analyses (business cases) are created under your leadership and form the basis for strategic decisions. You develop and document requirements such as Epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, which serve as the basis for agile implementation.

What you have to offer

Sound business and IT-related knowledge form the basis of your expertise. You have a deep understanding of CEP mail logistics processes as well as several years of experience in modelling and documenting business processes with ADONIS and business objects. You drive change forward with your strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as your creative mindset. You recognize the potential of artificial intelligence and use it purposefully in process design. Your strengths include communication and stakeholder management. You have mastered agile and traditional requirements engineering. You have a good spoken and written command of German and good knowledge of English.
