You design and optimize components, assemblies, and systems with a focus on technical, scheduling, and financial constraints
You create 3D models using CAD, including surface modeling for casting parts
You produce and correct 2D drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
You develop 2D and 3D visualizations to support technical communication and presentations
You perform basic component calculations using FEM or analytical methods
You manage product lifecycle data in PLM systems, including BOM creation and lifecycle promotion
You collaborate across departments within the project environment
You define tolerance requirements for Defence-specific components
You work closely with suppliers to clarify technical specifications and co-develop components
You contribute to FMEA and support the FRACAS process through troubleshooting and design improvements
You act as the design referent for selected components across all engine platforms
You support patent analysis, technical guideline implementation, and knowledge sharing within the Defence design team
Your Profile
----------------
You hold a degree in mechanical engineering or automotive manufacturing from a university or technical college
You have extensive experience in Defence combustion engine design, including lightweight and high-speed applications
You are familiar with special materials and have knowledge of Defence standards such as MIL-STD 882 and 810
You have a solid understanding of combustion engines and military powertrain systems, with practical experience in FMEA and FRACAS processes
You are able to interpret simulation results in 1D, CFD, FEA, and NVH, and have a good command of CAD tools
You work autonomously with commitment and flexibility, showing a structured and organized work ethic
You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in multicultural teams
You bring an innovative mindset and a goal-oriented approach
You are fluent in English and German, with ideally a good command of French
