To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our Data, Digital and AI team in the Global IT department, we are looking for a dedicated Solution Architect/Process Data Engineer (f/m/d), 100%, who thrives at the intersection of data-driven solutions and real-world business impact.

Your tasks:

Bridge the gap between business and data by working closely with chemists, process engineers, and other business experts to understand challenges and translate them into data- driven opportunities. Drive innovation through data by collaborating with stakeholders to conceptualize and prototype data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making. Transform data into actionable insights by designing and developing dashboards, models and reports, using industry tools like Seeq, IOTA, Power BI or Spotfire, or custom visualization created with Plotly/ Dash. Develop hands-on data science and analytics solutions using Python, Seeq, and other relevant tools to process, analyze, and visualize data effectively. Enable self-service analytics by structuring and preparing data to empower business users with self-service analytics tools, ensuring data accessibility and usability. Collaborate with internal and external experts like data scientists, data engineers, cloud specialists, and external partners to design and implement scalable cloud-driven data solutions. Ensure strategic alignment and balance business needs, technical feasibility, and scalability when designing and deploying solutions.

Your profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or science (e.g., mechanical, chemical, process engineering, biotechnology, applied mathematics, or a related field). Deep understanding of how time-series data analytics can drive efficiency and innovation in manufacturing operations, with the ability to identify challenges and turn them into business value. Hands-on experience in Seeq, Aveva PI System and IOTA with the expectation to continuously refine and expanding your expertise. Strong foundation in data science, AI, and analytics, with the ability to apply them to practical, real-world scenarios. Proficiency in or eagerness to learn industry-leading tools for data visualization (Power BI, Spotfire, Plotly/ Dash), statistical analysis (Minitab) and chemometrics (PLS Toolbox) to support data-driven decision-making. A structured and analytical problem-solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex challenges and develop data-driven solutions. Good communication skills in German and English for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and fostering collaboration
