About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Systems Manager to oversee the entire IT systems infrastructure of a well-established Swiss financial institution. You will be responsible for the performance, stability, and security of both on-prem and cloud-based environments, while supporting internal users and aligning IT with business continuity needs.
Your Core Responsibilities
Ensure smooth and secure operation of critical systems including:
VMware vSphere
Red Hat Linux & Windows Server environments
Active Directory & Hyperconverged infrastructure
Microsoft Azure (local integration)
Backup technologies (Veeam or equivalent)
DevSecOps & IT resilience systems
Deliver 1st and 2nd level support to internal users
Maintain system documentation and business continuity plans
Lead regular IT recovery and incident response exercises
Act as a key contributor to IT transformation projects
Your Profile
Degree in IT Engineering or equivalent, specialized in Systems Infrastructure
6+ years' experience in Systems Management, ideally in Swiss banking
Certified in VMware vSphere, Veeam, Windows Server, or Red Hat Linux
Hands-on expertise in managing virtualized & secure environments
Familiar with ITIL and service-oriented support models
Strong grasp of cybersecurity, risk management, and BCP strategies
Fluent in French and English
Swiss residency is a must
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
