About Us



We're a team of over 40 volunteers working across multiple disciplines, from linguistics to design, from business development and marketing to product development. We are open and respectful, working remotely and asynchronously. Accountability is key for us, and so is teamwork.

About the Role



We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Website Administrator to oversee the technical management of our hosting environment and support the migration of our website from Kirby to WordPress.

Responsibilities



Manage and configure the organization's web hosting services (currently Aruba Linux Hosting) Oversee backups and recovery workflows to ensure website data is protected. Support the migration of the Komunikon website from Kirby to WordPress, ensuring minimal downtime. Configure and manage DNS records, subdomains, and SSL certificates. Troubleshoot hosting and server-related issues during and after migration.. Collaborate with the web development team and sys-admin for smooth deployment and maintenance. Maintain technical documentation related to hosting and migration.

Qualifications :



Experience with web hosting platforms (Aruba or similar providers a plus). Knowledge of DNS management, domains, and SSL certificates. Familiarity with CMS platforms, such as Kirby, WordPress. Understanding of website backup and recovery processes. Basic knowledge of Linux server environments is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

General Requirements:



Commitment to collaborative work in a volunteer-driven, international team. Clear communication skills and reliability in task delivery.
