What to Expect


The Business Planning Analyst is responsible for contributing to the overall performance of our Sales & Delivery organization, which includes defining the key strategies to solve for the objectives of the sales team. As part of this team, you will develop in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and demand drivers across EMEA to define cohesive business plans to achieve short and long-term objectives. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in quantitative analysis, project management, thought leadership and problem-solving to define programmatic solutions to support demand generation and sales process efficiencies.

What You'll Do

Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics and demand drivers across the EMEA markets from both analytical and on-the-ground perspectives Conduct forecast gap analysis and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators to improve demand and supply projections Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations and develop tailored strategies, tactical measures, and sales programs to drive improvements and support demand generation Analyze internal and external sales data to identify opportunities/risks, while working closely with teams in the field across EMEA to understand local market dynamics and ensure our planning process and model incorporates market differences Own aspects of the planning process, including resource planning and allocation, sales strategy, logistics planning and business priorities, while managing communication with various cross-functional teams to develop cohesive plans and achieve business goals Identify and execute on areas for improvement across the planning process between various teams (sales, delivery, finance, real estate, market readiness, etc.) on our planning, processes, and execution Provide thought leadership on how we can improve our sales processes, measure performance, and drive efficiency in operations while collaborating closely with the Business Analytics team to define improvements to performance management tools

What You'll Bring

Relevant education in Engineering, Computer and/or Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business/Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability Experience in with SQL, Python and/or other programming languages (e.g. Matlab) to build operational models Proven experience in data processing methods (e.g. building ETLs) with strong knowledge of Excel data processing and automation and solid experience in BI visualization and dashboarding (e.g. Tableau) Good understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) elements and process. Experienced in driving cross-functional initiatives and process improvements High level of data quality and integrity and a proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
