\\n The Director of IT is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall Information Technological operation and/or application of systems within the hotel, in support of our quests our colleagues and in any corporate initiative introduced to the organization. It includes the following: Hardware, Software, Telecommunication, In-Room Entertainment System, High Speed Internet Access, Audio/Video systems, Digital CCTV Systems, Keylock & Keycard Systems.

Requirement:

Experience and education on Microsoft networking preferably with an updated certification of MCSE. Experience and education on CISCO networking equipment. Experience and education in Microsoft Exchange 2010 system administration. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of office application products. Strong Server and Desktop maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

Understanding and working knowledge of hotel operations.

Experience and knowledge of the following core hotel systems: SMS/Host property management; Delphi sales & catering; InfoGenesis point of sales; Sun Systems back office; Moreton Bay purchasing management;Keylock and related systems;IP PBX, Call Accounting, Voice Mail;IP In-room entertainment system; high speed internet access.

Communications skills in French & English; Analytical approach to problem solving;Skill and proven experience in project management; Inter-personal skills; Experience at managing suppliers & vendors; Business & Finance acumen.

• Possess a Bachelor\\\'s degree in Computer Science, MIS or a similar discipline with MCSA.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a travel or hospitality field. Minimum of 2 years relevant job experience as a hotel IT systems manager.
