Responsibilities

Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Design and specify instruments and electrical installations in accordance with environmental conditions and process engineering requirements to ensure reliable system performance. Perform electrical calculations and analyses to ensure all safety requirements are met. Conduct detailed design reviews to ensure systems are feasible for commissioning and comply with regulatory and operational standards. Support with project management tasks and procurement processes including preparing tender documentation, analyzing bids, assisting with cost estimation, and liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure budget-compliant project execution. Lead commissioning activities and perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues during project execution and operational phases. Work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver projects from feasibility studies through execution design to commissioning and successful project completion.

Qualifications

Completed advanced degree in electrical engineering (or similar field). Professional experience in E&I engineering within the life sciences or food and beverage sectors. Solid background in cGMP regulations and their practical application to electrical systems. Hands-on experience using design and calculation software (AutoCAD, Revit, Caneco). Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. German is a plus. Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in an international environment. Willingness to travel to job sites as required, including international assignments (up to 40% globally).
