Duties and Responsibilities

As Gardener, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:


Landscapes or maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment.


Be familiar with the machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.


Monitors and maintains all of the garden areas, free from weeds with a maximum yield.


Uses personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty.


Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.


Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.


Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Gardener, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:


High school diploma or equivalent and/or apprenticeship in horticulture and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting.


Technical skills include the ability of mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, watering, and pruning, operations of flowers, plants and trees and the ability to work with various hazardous equipment in a safe and reliable manner.


Fluent in French and English


EU or Swiss passport
