Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on

Hotel General Manager

to oversee daily operations of a boutique hotel in Aeschi, focusing on rooms and breakfast service. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both

German and English

, and

hold a valid hospitality management licence (Wirtepatent/Gastgewerbepatent)

required to operate a hotel in the Canton of Bern.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including room bookings, guest experience, and breakfast service Lead, train and schedule staff to ensure high service standards Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and legal requirements under Swiss hospitality regulations Handle budgeting, cost control, and supplier relationships Oversee guest feedback, problem resolution, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication in

German

(B2-C1) and

English

(B2+)

Valid Swiss hospitality licence (Gastgewerbepatent/Wirtepatent)

for the Canton of Bern Ability to work independently and make operational decisions
