HR Operations Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you can contribute to run what runs the world by delivering efficient and effective HR services to ABB Switzerland and the Group's headquarters as part of the Employee Lifecycle Team (ELC).



The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid



You will be mainly accountable for:

Provide first-level HR support via Contact Center for employees, managers, and HR community. Process ELC Switzerland requests and manage immigration/work permit procedures. Serve as SNOW key user and specialist in complex HR cases/projects across countries. Coordinate end-to-end process improvements through feedback, experience, and initiatives.

Qualifications for the role

Commercial degree with further education in HR (e.g., Swiss federal vocational certificate in HR) Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a comparable role in an HR Operations or Payroll environment Sound level of knowledge of Swiss employment law and work permits Ability to manage multiple demands on time and work with cross-functional teams Customer-oriented, reliable, and accurate way of working with proficient technical and analytical skills Very good level of experience with all MS Office products (especially Excel) Ideally good level of knowledge in SAP HR and Workday Fluency in German and English is a must (French or/and/or Italian considered a plus)
