Order Management Specialist

Order Handling Specialist (80-100%)



Your Role and Responsibilities




In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide customer support and act as a problem solver for all inquiries - including technical assistance, help with orders, questions about delivery performance, and payments - to achieve the targeted goals regarding service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will implement the customer service strategy daily to enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Additionally, you will contribute your expertise by supporting the achievement of defined objectives, monitoring progress, and implementing improvement measures when necessary. In your role, you will serve as an interface with internal and external partners to ensure a smooth order flow.


Work model for this role: on-site / hybrid


This position contributes to the Local Product Group Smart Buildings in the Switzerland region. Key stakeholders include internal and external customers, Sales, Logistics, Product Marketing, Procurement, Planning, and Quality Assurance.

You will be mainly responsible for:



Close interaction with internal and external customers via meetings, email, and Teams. Processing orders, complaints, and returns by coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, Logistics, Quality, Planning, Scheduling, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers. Acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and orders and ensuring the resolution of customer issues. Supporting pre-sales or after-sales service by resolving customer problems and ensuring effective and efficient customer communication using specific commercial communication tools.

Qualifications for the Role



Proficient in SAP Sales & Distribution, MS Office, and customer communication tools. At least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in inside sales, order processing, or similar areas. A team player with a solution-oriented and independent working style, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude toward change. Completed commercial training. Good understanding of logistical processes. Fluent in German and English. Valid work permits for Switzerland.
