Position Summary
As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding product safety, meeting quality requirements, and ensuring full regulatory compliance throughout production, storage, and distribution. You will drive "first-time-right" execution, timely product release, and adherence to quality cost targets. In this role, you will guarantee the proper application of Nestle Waters and Granini quality standards (joint venture with Eckes-Granini), while coordinating market activities with the Cluster Europe & AOA.
A day in the life of a Quality Manager
Performance Management

  • Define and align the Quality strategy for manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate all quality-related activities across factory functions.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all tests, checks, and examinations to monitor production processes.
  • Lead the analysis of consumer complaints and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Develop and track the Quality and Project Development Roadmap.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and lead audits.
  • Coordinate market activities with Cluster Europe & AOA and the Eckes-Granini joint venture.
Management
  • Lead and supervise the QA, APG, and Laboratory departments.
  • Train, develop, and manage resources within the APG and Quality teams.
  • Drive employee evaluations, succession planning, and competency development.
Safety, Health & Environment
  • Ensure team safety and manage environmental impacts of departmental processes.
What will make you successful
  • University graduate or equivalent (preference in chemistry, biology or food science)
  • 7+ years of experience in quality functions in food, beverages or dairy industries
  • Solid experience in Management of team members
  • Sound knowledge in food safety, food analysis, microbiology and chemistry
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of relevant raw and packaging materials
  • Proven track-record in delivering results by working with cross-functionals teams and projects
  • Good project Management with very good stakeholders management skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Capacity to manage crisis
  • Leadership qualities
  • In depth knowledge of SAP
  • English and French fluent, German would be an asset
