The opportunity

Join our Product Evaluation and Qualification team at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors and help us ensure the performance of our semiconductor chips and power modules. You'll work on cutting-edge projects in a global environment, contributing to technologies that power renewable energy, traction, and E-mobility. This internship of 6 - 12 months offers hands-on experience in advanced test system design and the chance to grow alongside experienced engineers.

How you'll make an impact

Contribute to the design of test systems for semiconductor reliability and electrical measurements Implement test systems using appropriate hardware and software components Ensure accurate measurement of required values during testing Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test systems Document design, implementation, and test results clearly and thoroughly Collaborate closely with the team to meet project goals Present your results and demonstrate system functionality to the team

Your background

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field Strong understanding of circuit design and programming (C, C++, or Python) Familiar with test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters Basic knowledge of semiconductor testing and characterization Creative problem-solver with an independent and proactive mindset paired with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
