Job Description

EPAM is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with significant expertise in Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) to join our team in Zurich. This role is suited for professionals with a deep understanding of portfolio management workflows, private banking operations, and hands-on experience integrating CRIMS with enterprise systems such as trade execution platforms, market data services, Order Management Systems (OMS), and custodians.


This position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on-site collaboration at our client's office.

Responsibilities



Manage the integration, customization, and maintenance of Charles River IMS with systems such as OMS, accounting platforms, data warehouses, and market data feeds Collaborate with portfolio managers, compliance teams, risk teams, and IT departments to enhance end-to-end investment workflows Develop and implement integration solutions using APIs and messaging protocols such as FIX, REST, SOAP, XML, and MQ Configure Charles River functionalities, including rules, workflows, compliance checks, and alerts, to align with business objectives Oversee system upgrades, patches, and migrations, providing technical support and guidance throughout the process Transform business requirements into scalable and secure integration designs Diagnose and resolve integration-related technical issues, conducting root-cause analysis when necessary Provide production support to ensure system stability and reliability Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and interface designs Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and production deployment activities

Requirements



At least 8 years of experience in the banking industry with a thorough understanding of portfolio management workflows A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Charles River Investment Management System (CRD/CRIMS) Comprehensive knowledge of portfolio management practices, compliance workflows, and the order/trade lifecycle Expertise in working with APIs (REST/SOAP), FIX Protocol, XML/JSON messaging, and middleware technologies like MQ Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data integration and analysis tasks Experience collaborating with custodians, market data providers like Bloomberg and Refinitiv, and accounting systems Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both business and IT stakeholders Fluent English proficiency, along with at least B1-level German language skills
