You will work in the Risk Management Department of a small team of experts focused on critically managing and reviewing the risk profile of the bank. In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide corporate credit analysis for a growing business segment. Versatility, a hands-on approach and resilience are required in this small team.
Your next challenge:

• Perform credit analysis for new transactions and annual reviews.
• Monitoring of financial covenants and waiver handling.
• Assist the first line of defense in portfolio management.
• Ensure an up to date policy framework on corporate banking activity.
• Measure and manage the risk appetite around corporate lending activities together with the first line of defense.
• Provide comprehensive reporting to the Management.

Your skills:

• A master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field would be preferred.
• FRM or CFA would be an advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar position with relevant credit risk experience, preferably within an Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Private Equity house or private debt provider.
• Experience in the Swiss banking market.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, summarize, derive conclusions and provide relevant recommendations on a variety of credit risk related topics. Solid judgement is key for this role.
• The ability to formulate a clear and compelling analysis and present this to senior stakeholders.
• Sound understandings of trends in regulation, both from ECB/ EBA and FINMA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Growth mind set and team spirit.
• Flexibility to help out other colleagues from the risk department in case of downtime.

The ideal candidate has built his experience in an international bank, has worked in the Swiss market with broad exposure to various corporate credit transactions. Private debt, private equity, acquisition and leveraged finance experience will all be beneficial.
