Our technology is based on 18 years of research by our founders at the prestigious Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM). Hilo by Aktiia's solution has been validated through extensive clinical trials and received a CE Mark as a Class IIa medical device under MDR leading to commercial access of approximately 43 countries worldwide.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an HR Ops & People Partner
As our HR Ops & People Partner, you will be the first dedicated HR person in the company. You will provide effective HR Ops and People Partner support that enables Hilo by Aktiia through its global growth. You will work on streamlining HR processes, driving people-focused initiatives, and ensuring legal compliance across multiple countries. We are looking for you to be excited about building new things, be curious and not afraid of what you don't know and be innovation and solutions-driven. We work at a fast pace and we do it together as one team.
You will be based in Switzerland (ideally Neuchatel/Lausanne area) and report to our COO/VP Finance but engage with all levels of the business to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
Provide operational support and act as main point of contact for all HR-related enquiries, guidelines and processes, worldwide
Manage offer letters, contracting, onboarding, offboarding and ongoing employee admin and support
Own Hilo by Aktiia's HR tools (predominantly Deel) and keep on top of supplier performance to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose
Ensure data accuracy and leverage data to make informed decisions,
Oversee benefits admin
Run the biannual review process in an efficient and timely way
Support line managers with their teams
Ensure Hilo by Aktiia is compliant across the different countries it operates in and support any country expansion from an HR perspective
Proactive about how any law or regulation changes may impact employees and Hilo by Aktiia as a company.
Stay informed about industry best practices, employment trends, and emerging HR technologies.
Create new policies where needed
Manage relationships with internal Finance department as well as external vendors and, such as HR consultants and service providers, to ensure effective Payroll & HR service delivery.
Trusted advisor for leaders and employees
Drive people-focused initiatives alongside the leadership team
Assist the hiring teams on any projects such as talent development and employer branding
