Background:

You will join a global organization within the Direct Procurement Operations department responsible for the \\xe2\\x80\\x9cOEM/Third Party Finished Products\\xe2\\x80\\x9d purchasing area and thus for ensuring the supply for our diagnostics distribution centers in Indianapolis USA and Mannheim Germany. As a team member, you will be responsible for executing purchase orders and receipts , first level escalation to business stakeholders, master data management and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure maximum value add to Supply Chain and Operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor purchase orders (delivery acknowledgements, quantity and time changes, follow up delayed orders)
  • Generate virtual goods receipt and goods issue after having received the shipping notification Process and confirm SAP material master workflow items for new materials
  • Process international OEM purchasing orders and create order confirmations
  • Process invoice verification workflow items in consultation with the SRM Manager
  • Responsible for material and vendor specific master data including info record/order book maintenance, material master workflows (procurement view) and price deviation workflows consulting with the SRM Manager
  • nitiate returns as specified by the final goods recipient (other Roche company) or RDI Finance
  • Supports global planners and business respective contacts on expediting urgent deliveries
  • Supports overall supply chain optimization (e.g. optimization of order lot size)
  • Permanently optimizes processes in order to increase quality and efficiency standards
Must Haves:
  • Finished apprentice ship or university degree in commercial area, ideally in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain ()
  • First experience in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain ()
  • Good IT skills with G-Suite and with electronic ordering systems as well as knowledge in SAP ()
  • Very good German and good English skills written and spoken are required ()
  • Very good communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and understanding of higher-level contexts
  • Conceptual and analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity and initiative
