About the Role
We are looking for a
Chef de Partie
to join our production team and help deliver exceptional meals for our airline clients. This role is key to ensuring consistent quality and smooth daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced airline catering environment.
As Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensure high-quality preparation and presentation, and support the Head Chef in day-to-day operations.
Annual gross salary:
CHF 60,000-65,000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to recipes and client specifications.
Ensure all food leaving your section is consistent, fresh, and presented to the highest standard.
Manage your assigned section of the kitchen and support junior staff with training and guidance.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Assist in controlling costs by minimizing waste and improving efficiency.
Support the Head Chef with daily operations and contribute ideas for menu and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including correct food handling and storage.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
Chef de Partie (3+ years)
in high-volume kitchens; airline catering or large-scale food production is a strong plus.
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.
Strong knife skills and sound knowledge of culinary techniques.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Excellent command of
French (written and spoken)
; English is an advantage.
Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
Passion for culinary excellence and ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work different shifts (early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
